This leader will be responsible for developing, delivering, and innovating on Territory and Quota operations at Salesforce. This includes driving all Territory and Quota Planning processes during Salesforce’s annual go-to-market planning and execution process. Additionally, this role will reimagine and deliver major transformational initiatives to drive accuracy, scale, and efficiency in Salesforce’s operational foundation.This leader will be responsible for building and executing multi-year roadmaps to transform highly sophisticated Territory and Quota systems, tools, and processes working across a matrixed set of cross-functional stakeholders including Finance, Incentive Compensation, and Distribution Leadership.This leader will tackle deeply complex challenges through curiosity and a beginner’s mind in order to build best-in-class tools and processes that scale with Salesforce. This leader will design and deliver meaningful recommendations for territory and quota planning, through relevant, reliable, transparent data and scalable tools.ResponsibilitiesLead the global carving and quota operational teamsOutline and deliver opportunities for increased optimization and effectiveness in our existing teams, processes, systems, and tools to deliver reliable performance at scale.Design and execute short and long term roadmaps for improved operational efficiency and performance in Territory and Quota Planning.Develop and implement data analysis for larger and complex data sets to inform decisions and priorities.Design and execute short and long term roadmaps for improvement in tools, systems, and data demonstrated in Territory and Quota Planning. Includes documenting detailed business requirements for technological development.Provide thought leadership and operational impact assessment of go-to-market decisions on quota and territroy processes, timelines, and outcomesBuild trusted, impactful relationships across a dynamic and matrixed set of operational and distribution stakeholdersDesign and support change management for stakeholders of Territory and Quota operations for changes in process, policy, systems, and toolsOwn, manage, and innovate the global program timelines for both territory and quota planningOwn, manage, and innovate the global processes and policies for quota and territory planningPartner closely with the quota execution team to ensure on-time execution of planning deliverablesRequired Skills/Experience10+ years of work experience, ideally in Sales Operations, Sales Strategy, or FinanceExceptional problem solving and critical thinking skills. Demonstrated ability to structure complex problems and propose innovative solutions.Track record of curiosity, beginners mind and challenging the status quo in order to transform complex operations.Experience in building and driving territory and quota planning processes and tools.Experience with sales coverage models, quota-setting methodologies, and territory planning.Excellent spoken and written communication skills.Proven analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to understand granular detail without losing sight of the big picture.Experience leading teams of at least 20. Track record of delivering business-needs while also investing in the development and advancement of talent. Comfortable addressing areas of necessary performance improvement on the team.Able to identify, frame, and solution complex challenges. Able to prioritize and make tough decisions.Comfortable managing high volumes of data, deriving insights from data, and making data-based decisions or recommendations.Comfortable in Google Sheets and Excel.Ability to independently craft a full range of clear, high-impact communications for different stakeholders. Ability to communicate in a clear and authentic manner.Ability to establish and build close working relationships. Ability to motivate, collaborate, and work successfully in a team environment. Proven track record of managing complex sets of team members. Comfortbale leading a distributed team across multiple time zones.Capable of reliably driving deliverables on incredibly tight deadlines in a rapidly changing environemnt while juggling multiple priorities.Experience working with executive leadership.Superior time management skills.
