If you are excited by technology that has the power to handle hundreds of thousands of transactions per second; collect tens of billions of events each day; and evaluate thousands of data-points in real-time all while responding in just a few milliseconds, then IAS is the place for you.What you'll do:Guide agile development teams in the design of complex end-to-end big data batch and stream oriented solutionsEnsure teams are in alignment with IAS platform architecture principles, standards, strategies, and platform target statesDesign and guide the development of our BI & Analytics system: Symantec layer, Data APIs and VisualizationsResearch and maintain knowledge in emerging technologies and solutions to solve business problems and establish the IAS technology stackYou should apply if you have most of this:Bachelors in CS or related STEM degreeIn-depth and up-to-date knowledge of Architectural patterns and best practices for distributed systems. Recent hands on experience as a big data engineer lead or technical architect with a minimum of 10+ years overall experience.Recent hands on experience and expertise working with SnowflakeExperience with big data batch & stream processing technologies to build ETL & ELT pipelines: Apache Spark, Kafka, Flink, etc.Experience working with a variety of relational, columnar, and NoSQL database systems such as: Snowflake, Presto, Druid, Aerospike, MySQLExperience with BI tool integration such as Looker, Power BI or similar Experience working with AWS cloud servicesAbility to produce and maintain design documents and present technical solutionsNice to have:Experience with AWS cloud servicesKnowledge of the ad-tech domain/ecosystemNew York Applicants: The salary range for this position is $136,000 - $231,000 actual pay may vary based on experience or geographic location.About Integral Ad Science Integral Ad Science (IAS) is a global leader in digital media quality.
