The position will focus on the preparation and review of the consolidated financial statements, payroll management, employee benefit plans, and pension plans, and corporate accounting matters. This role will be managing a team that provides global financial partnership and support across all departments. This role is ideal for someone with enthusiasm and energy, a keen attention to detail, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and a team-player. The ideal candidate is naturally curious, dedicated, detailed-oriented with a strong desire to work with awesome people in a highly collaborative environment. You should be able to not take yourself too seriously as well. This role will report functionally to the VP Finance, EMEA and APAC based in Singapore.What you’ll do:Own and ensure implementation of accounting policies and internal controlsManage the India Centre of excellence covering global functions such as payroll, accounts payable and others.Managing the entire India General Ledger reporting: Fixed Assets, Prepaids, Accruals, Balance Sheet reconciliation, intercompany accounts, cash reporting, petty cash management, etc.Work to have finalised financial results completed within the month end close schedule.Supporting budget and forecasting activitiesApprove/review journal entriesSupport transfer pricing entriesResponsible for filing GST & other indirect taxesAct as a signatory for office expenses budget ownerManage provident fund transactionsAssist the team in preparing financial entries and prepare accounting and financial reports as neededEnsure processes and documentation are in place to support all compliance requirementsEnsuring organizational costs and operational processes are optimally set-up while minimizing tax and compliance costs wherever possibleMonitor the impact of ongoing changes in regulation, and respond with adjustments as necessary.Coordinate across multiple functions to ensure compliance and appropriate documentation.Coordinating the local response to tax audits, including acting as the main local contact, coordinating responses from the Global Tax Manager.Manage the local entity Audit directly participating in preparing and reconciling information requested for auditors Managing accountant(s)Who you are and what you have:13+ years of accounting-related work experience, including US GAAP accounting, management, and financial reportingQualified accountant with a professional accounting body such as ACCA/CPA/CAPrevious working experience at a large multinational company within a multi-currency environmentExperience managing a Centre of Excellence or Shared services centerThe ability to operate at a “high level” as well as a “detailed level”Sound analytical and reporting skills; ability to understand complicated topics, apply critical thinking, apply judgment and make decisionsGood management judgment, flexibility, and ability to manage multiple prioritiesExcellent communication skills, both written and verbal; comfortable interacting with a peer group, senior leadership, and third-party service providersExcellent organization skills and ability to manage multiple changing priorities along with day-to-day responsibilitiesStrong work ethics, professional attitude, and reliabilityAbout Integral Ad Science Integral Ad Science (IAS) is a global leader in digital media quality.
