We are looking for a Product Sales Manager to join our A&G team in Singapore to manage opportunities in Southeast Asia and South Asia. This is an amazing opportunity to work on Web of Science (“WoS”) product family for research and analytics. Products include InCites Benchmarking & Analytics, WoS Custom Data via API and data feed, Research Management Solutions (Esploro), Research Funding Data (Pivot-RP) and Consulting Services. Sales growth and yearly quota will be achieved through cross selling into existing and prospects of industry verticals of Academic & Government (“A&G”), Corporations (“IP”) and Pharmaceutical (“LS/H”) customers. This is a new business hunting role only with no renewals. The role will report into the Head of Product Sales for Asia Pacific and will involve collaboration with Account Mangers and other commercial stakeholders to implement and execute on product sales strategies. The focus will be on A&G, IP and LS/H customer verticals to provide solutions for their research enhancement and expedite the pace of their innovation. Most importantly, we will be the ones who will be indirectly supporting our customers with evidence-based information. About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments Minimum of 5 years sales experience in consultive selling environment or proven experience in successfully selling enterprise solutions within the research/consulting space will be an added advantage. Prior experience and in-depth domain knowledge of A&G markets is preferred Prior experience of selling to Universities, Ministries & Government departments will be preferred. Proven track record of business development capability and cultivating strong customer relationships with senior stakeholders Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multi-stage process pipeline Excellent presentation, communication, negotiation and time management skills It would be great if you are . . . Meet and exceed product sales targets for assigned product(s)/territory Prospect for, support and develop new business opportunities both independently and with Account Managers Build and develop a robust pipeline with a clear focus on increasing deal size and velocity Utilize domain expertise to conceive and position value-added solutions to increase deal size Implement and execute on ‘Sales Plays’ to drive maximum cross sell growth Cultivate strong customer relationships creating trust and confidence with senior stakeholders to become a trusted advisor to our target customers Work in alignment with Account Managers and other commercial sellers including Pre-Sales and Customer Success to contribute to territory planning and sales strategies to maximise Clarivate’s footprint within our customers Diligent management of opportunities in Salesforce ensuring all information is kept up to date at all times and relevant internal stakeholders are appraised of deal developments Contribute to and produce reports as required, including outlining current and proposed activities, customer visits, and on pipeline activity, sales forecasts and closing timetables Work with Sales Enablement, Marketing and other commercial teams to develop and execute sales campaigns and lead generation activities Pro-actively acquire and develop relevant market, industry and product knowledge and skills to support commercial success About the Team Products: InCites Benchmarking & Analytics, WoS Custom Data via API and data feed, Research Management Solutions (Esploro), Research Funding Data (Pivot-RP) and Consulting Services. Sectore: A&G, IP and LS/H. Sales team consists of Account Managers and Product Sales. Other Product Sales will be based in Japan, Republic of Korea, Australia and China.
