We are looking for a Senior Product Sales Manager to join the Academia and Government Sales Team for UK and Ireland. This role will report to the Senior Director, Product Sales and will be based in the UK.The Senior Manager leads and coordinates sales activity for an assigned territory, utilizing expertise and other resources such as product specialists, technical solutions consultant and field marketing teams to meet and exceed sales targets. This individual draws on deep product, sales, and Company knowledge to develop others and lead key projects.This is an amazing opportunity to manage existing Academia and Government revenue, with a strong focus on generating new business. We would love to speak with you if you have experience with sales in A&G.About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments• Minimum 7 years’ experience as a Sales Manager• Bachelor's degree in related field or at least 4 years of equivalent relevant experienceIt would be great if you also had . . .Experience selling enterprise software/SAAS solutions.Knowledge of Libraries requirements and productsExperience managing complex, high value, strategic accounts and generating new business.Sales negotiation skillsAnalytical skillsKnowledge of formalized sales techniques and methodologies (i.e.: Challenger, Miller Heiman) relevant to the industry.Prior experience with SalesForce.com or NetsuiteFluency in languages other than English.Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and related software relevant to the role.Ability to travel nationally and internationally.What will you be doing in this role?Own the assigned territory and individual account plan coordination, working closely with product specialists, trainers, and renewal teams to develop an overall account plan to grow long term revenue.Influencing and motivating others in a matrixed sales organization to support and drive towards shared goals.Focusing on new and renewal business as part of expanding Clarivate’s footprint within the account; typically serves as primary point to engage client.Leading RFP coordination and development as needed; seeking opportunities to unite multiple RFP or current investments and collaborating with product specialists as appropriate.Managing full portfolio forecast (renewals and new business) including specialty products and content; work closely with product specialist and support teams to ensure forecast accuracy.Leading content demonstrations, engaging product specialists as appropriate for product-specific demonstrations.Manage the overall health of the account; coordinating routine checkpoints, handling business reviews, participating in new product roadmap discussions, and engaging in client meetings.Ensuring client satisfaction and issues are resolved; relying on product specialists to drive specialty product issues and working with colleagues in customer services and technical supportAbout the TeamThe Senior Sales Manager will interact and work within a focused team, working closely with the Senior sales Director as well as working cross-functionally with Technical Solution Consultants, Customer Success Manager, Bid Writers and marketing support. In addition, the Senior Sales Manager will be engaging with product managers to ensure our solutions are meeting the local requirements.
