Service Operations IP Associate (German-speaking)

We are looking for a Service Operations IP Associate (German-speaking) to join our Operations team in Belgrade. This is an amazing opportunity to learn more about the IP industry. We would love to speak with you if you’re interested in learning more about the magnificent industry of intellectual property.About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments• University degree (Bachelor’s/Master’s) in relevant subject (Law, Business Administration, IP, etc.)• Proficient level of German and English It would be great if you also had . . .• 1 year of experience in relevant IP field• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including MS Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.• Exemplary can-do, proactive approach• Good organizational and problem-solving skillsWhat will you be doing in this role?• Assisting paralegals on prosecution of Patent/Trademark/Design applications/registrations before the local/international IPOs or responsible authorities directly or through the outside counsels including: 1) Reviewing correspondence from outside counsels; 2) Drafting of responses to the same; 3) Gathering together and providing outside counsels with information and documentation necessary to prosecute/maintain Patent/Trademark/Design applications/registrations• Conveying and drafting instructions to foreign counsel related to Patent/Trademark/Design matters; supervising outside counsel to assure deadlines are met; Responsibility to meet prosecution and maintenance deadlines• Maintenance of internal database; Creating portfolio status charts; creating Patent/Trademark/Design portfolio reports• Creating summaries and periodic status reports of Patent/Trademark/Design matters for clients; Upgrading on procedures and modifications in applicable laws plus regulations in International IP offices; Issuing invoices and reviewing outside counsel invoices for accuracy• Working on execution and legalization of documents (e.g. Powers of Attorney, Declarations, Priority documents); Supporting Patent/Trademark/Design related projects and ensures back-up operational support to clients and supervisorsAbout the TeamExtended Services team (within the wider Operations team) is responsible for performing Patent/Trademark operational tasks with assistance and under supervision from other paralegals and senior team members.
