We are looking for an Account Manager to join the Academic and government Sales Team for West South and North EMEA. This role will be based in the UK and report to the Director of Sales for West South and North EMEA.This is an amazing opportunity to manage all our existing Academia and Government revenue in Norway and Denmark and to generate new business from customers and prospectsWe would love to speak with you if you have experience with sales in A&G.About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments• Minimum 5 years’ experience in government sales• Bachelor's degree in related field or at least 4 years of equivalent relevant experienceIt would be great if you also had . . .Advanced degree in Library Science or related field.Knowledge of formalized sales techniques and methodologies (i.e.: Challenger, Miller Heiman) relevant to the industry.Knowledge of ProQuest business, clients and products, with ability to clearly and compellingly articulate value proposition for products and respond to inquiries about product functionality.Interpersonal and relationship building skillsSales negotiation skills, with experience influencing and selling to the executive-level decision makerExperience with Salesforce and Microsoft Office packageExperience with forecasting and reporting on key sales metrics.Fluency in additional languages a plusAbility to travel nationally and internationally.What will you be doing in this role?Own the assigned territory and individual account plan coordination, working closely with product specialists, trainers, and renewal teams to develop an overall account plan to grow long term revenue.Influencing and motivating others in a matrixed sales organization to support and drive towards shared goals.Focusing on new and renewal business as part of expanding the company's footprint within the account; typically serves as primary point to engage client.Leading RFP coordination and development as needed; seeking opportunities to unite multiple RFP or current investments and collaborating with product specialists as appropriate.Managing full portfolio forecast (renewals and new business) including specialty products and content; works closely with product specialist and support teams to ensure forecast accuracy.Leading content demonstrations, engaging product specialists as appropriate for product-specific demonstrations.Managing the overall health of the account; coordinating routine checkpoints, handling business reviews, participating in new product roadmap discussions, and engaging in client meetings. Ensuring account plan is making progress and is aligned to other objectives in the account.Ensuring client satisfaction and issues are resolved; relying on product specialists to drive specialty product issues and working with colleagues in customer services and technical supportAbout the TeamThe Account manager will interact and work with a large team and will work cross-functionally with product sales managers, Renewal account manager, customer success consultant, presales consultant, regional marketing support, product managers and more.  The teams you will be working with are located across the EMEA regionHours of WorkThis is a full-time permanent position that requires weekday (Monday - Friday) attendance with some scheduling flexibility available around core working hours.#LI-Hybrid , #LI-OnsiteAt Clarivate, we are committed to providing equal employment opportunities for all persons with respect to hiring, compensation, promotion, training, and other terms, conditions, and privileges of employment.
