We are looking for an Account Manager to join our South East Asia Life Science & Healthcare team in Singapore reporting to the head of commercial business for South Asia and Singapore. As an AM, you will be the orchestrator of the relationship with the customer including developing and driving credible and productive long-term relationships by understanding their business needs and providing tailored value-propositions. About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments Degree/Master Degree in science or technology is required; study of pharmaceutical sciences/ bio informatics will be an advantage. Minimum of 7 years of work experience in selling to or consulting with pharma biotech segment with demonstrated ability to grow business relationships. Preference will be given to those with experience in a sales role focused on information solutions in life sciences, intellectual property, or scholarly research domains. Deep understanding of Life Sciences and strong familiarity with Singapore Life science and Biotech industry is expected. Demonstrable experience of deploying customer driven approach and good customer engagement skills will be preferred. Minimum of 7 years sales or account management experience with a leading institution serving Pharma Segment in Singapore, with a consistent track record of revenue growth. Selling skills (identify, develop, and articulate a complex proposition/consultative selling). Excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. Strong interpersonal skills, ability to develop and execute a sales plan, ability to use a variety of technology with a high level of proficiency. It would be great if you are . . . Manage, retain, and grow revenue, responsible for sales and the customer relationship (will include new sales and revenue quota attainment). Develop and maintain client relationships to ultimately drive revenue growth. Develop and execute account strategy by collaborating with account team to deliver stronger, more relevant value propositions. Acquire and develop deep insight into the client and Clarivate objectives, projects, and activities with the goal of improving relationships and producing results. Responsible for forecasting, keeps management in touch with accounts in a timely fashion, gathers intelligence on competitor activity, and gives feedback to marketing. Act as point of contact for the client, provides escalation path to and from Service, attends to customer issues promptly. Track customer activity in internal systems to execute on account strategy and identify additional opportunities.
