Quality Assurance Engineer

We are looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer to join our Life Science team. This is an amazing opportunity to join our Dialog Solutions business unit and work on our industry-leading platform allows researchers to access and search peer-reviewed content databases from the world’s most reliable sources. The candidate will also collaborate in the development of new products and would be working in a team of experienced full-stack developers.About YouAt least 2+ years of experience as QA Engineer (Automated and manual testing)Knowledge of the software development lifecycle and QA methodologies.Experience with Selenium, Robot framework or similar.Experience in Performance testing using JMeter or similar.Experience with API testing using SoapUI or similar.Knowledge of the software development lifecycle and QA methodologies.Experience working in an Agile environment.Ability to design, implement and execute automated tests and clearly document results.Strong troubleshooting skills combined with the ability to break down complex issues.It would be great if you also had . . . PythonExperience with Windows server environmentsWhat will you be doing in this role?Designs, implements & executes automated tests.Debugs and fixes existing automated tests.Executes and maintains manual test scripts as needed.Uses bug tracking and report generating tools like JIRACommunicates test progress, test results, and other relevant information to leadership and/or stakeholders.Configures regression framework to run against different instancesWorks closely with Software Engineers, Product and Project Management.Product you will be developingDialog allows researchers to quickly find, organize, and share the right information through one-click options, all in the same interface.This lets users perform cross-database searches, download results, save searches and create custom reports, improving collaboration and enabling organizations to create custom search workflows that meet their specific requirements.Dialog is used by organizations around the world to find the answers to their research questions.
