Information Blurb (30 second elevator pitch)  We are seeking a sales account manager to join our team in Singapore to support our customers who work across the innovation ecosystem. This is a role focused on growing and maintaining our existing relationships and seeking new opportunities for growth across South-East Asia for Clarivate’s intellectual property business. This is an exciting opportunity to be a part of, to define and help drive growth across the region, with the support and network of an experienced regional and global team. The role will report into the Australian based Sales Director, and will involve collaboration with a team of product sales managers, solution consultants, and other commercial stakeholders, to ensure your ongoing success.About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments  Minimum of 4 years sales experience in a consultative selling environmentAbility to work with multiple levels within an organisationPrior experience of selling to the professional service sector and/or legal research or software solutionsProven track record of business development and account management capabilityDeveloping accounts through proactive account reviews and prospectingDeep discovery to understand customer workflow and content needsAdept at cultivating strong customer relationships with senior stakeholdersConsistent achievement of commercial targets in a collaborative sales environment.Willingness to travelBachelor’s DegreeExcellent organsational skills and ability to manage multi-stage process pipelineExcellent presentation, communication, negotiation and time management skillsIt would be great if you are . . .  Ambitious self-starter with high energy and motivationAbility to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, changing environmentCollaborative in approach and able to work well in a matrix environmentAssimilates new information quickly and able to apply this knowledge to drive salesPrior experience in selling bespoke data solutions e.g. API, XML,Experience with business intelligence tools – i.e. Microsoft BI, TableauPrior experience with workflow management tools and business process outsourcingFlexible and adaptable with a strong desire to learn and develop in a constantly evolving organisationWhat will you be doing in this role? Meet new business and retention targets for assigned customer territoryProspect for, support and develop new business opportunities both independently and with Product Sales Manager.Utilize domain expertise to conceive and position value-added solutions to increase opportunity sizeBuild and develop a pipeline with a clear focus on increasing opportunity size and velocityCultivate strong customer relationships creating confidence with senior stakeholders to become a trusted advisor to our customersWork in alignment with Product Sales Managers and Solution Consultants , to contribute to territory planning and sales strategies to maximise Clarivate’s exposure within our customersDiligent management of opportunities in CRM (Salesforce) ensuring all information is kept up to date at all times and relevant internal stakeholders are appraised of developmentsContribute to and produce reports, including outlining current and proposed activities, customer visits pipeline activity, sales forecasts and closing timetablesWork with Sales Enablement, Marketing and other commercial teams to develop and execute sales campaigns and lead generation activitiesPro-actively acquire and develop relevant market, industry and product knowledge and skills to support commercial successAbout the Team   With an existing set of customers who work across the innovation ecosystem, there is the opportunity to work with diverse colleagues who work across Clarivate’s intellectual property business.
