We are looking for a Consultant – Health Economics Statistician to join our Clarivate Consulting division to work hybrid in either London, Cambridge, or Bicester. This is an amazing opportunity to provide strategic statistical input into the generation of healthcare evidence by incorporating state-of-the-art statistical methodologies into resolution of client problems. The global Evidence, Value and Access Consultancy practice consists of over 100 technical experts and this role is reporting to the Senior Statistician – Health Economics. We have a great skill set in Health Economics, and we would love to speak with you if you have a good understanding of statistics including experience with working with large, complex data sets from clinical trials or real-world data and development of network meta-analyses and indirect comparisons.About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments Masters in medical statistics (or equivalent)At least 12 months’ knowledge and experience in statistics, including experience with working with large, complex data sets from clinical trials or real-world data and development of network meta-analyses and indirect comparisons Proven experience in statistical packages in at least one of the following WinBUGS, R, STATA and/or SASAt least 12 months’ experience in analysing and interpreting results and presenting them to colleagues and clientsProficiency in written and spoken EnglishIt would be great if you also had . . . Experience from a consultancy or industry backgroundA good understanding of the pharmaceutical industry Excellent interpersonal and communication skillsTime management skills, including the ability to manage own time to meet deadlines Self-motivated, ambitious, and flexible with an ability to cope under pressure / with competing demands What will you be doing in this role?Delivering. Deliver projects that involve statistical analyses and reporting. Providing. Provide strategic statistical input into the generation of healthcare evidence by incorporating state-of-the-art statistical methodologies into resolution of client problems. Contributing. Contribute to the statistical planning and design of studies by working with the Team Leader / SpecialistSupporting. Support the development and delivery of training to specialist teams to promote understanding and interpretation of statistical methodologies and to expand the statistical skill base across Clarivate ConsultingResponding. Support the responses to RFPs & preparing proposals to present (with support) at client pitches About the Team This role reports to the Senior Statistician – Health Economics who works in a team of 12.
