Sourcing Manager

We are seeking an experienced Indirect Sourcing leader who has experience leading stakeholder engagement and change management. You will serve in a pivotal role, leading strategic sourcing engagements across a wide range of business units on a global basis to enable supplier consolidation, cost management and the scaling of the business. Spend categories could include Corporate Services such as Professional Services, Consulting Services, HR Services, Marketing Services as well as IT. Sourcing Managers are expert practitioners in the tools for creating competitive environments and have a strong bias for decision-making rooted in data and analytics. About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishmentsBachelor’s degree Minimum 3 years of Procurement experienceMinimum 2 years as a Procurement Consultant, or Sourcing Manager or Category Manager in an established Procurement or Sourcing organizationMinimum 2 years of experience with business case and pricing analysis, negotiation and supplier management skillsMinimum 2 years of leading negotiations with various types of supplier agreements Minimum 2 years of experience developing and maintaining supplier relationships It would be great if you also had . . . 7 or more years of Procurement experience MBA Knowledge of a wide range of professional and corporate services as well as other indirect categories and supply marketsKnowledge of various sourcing practices and tools, and lead/support efforts to enhance the value of sourcing to the organizationExperience conducting market research and benchmarking of suppliers and related service categoriesWhat will you be doing in this role? Development of strategic sourcing initiatives through the introduction of a competitive marketplace, demand management, supplier consolidation, and process re-engineeringCategory expertise to identify cost drivers/trends to create procurement strategies across the categoryManagement of competitive bid processes including RFP's, RFI's, RFQ'sLead negotiations of various types of supplier agreementsOwn the full strategic sourcing cycle, including supplier identification and selection, price negotiation, and contract "red-lining"Lead and drive the identification, planning and management of a pipeline of strategic sourcing projectsAbout the TeamWe are transforming Procurement and Sourcing at Clarivate as we mature the organization, and we are looking for an individual who can contribute to the effort. The Sourcing team is a global team spread across the US, UK, Serbia, Israel and India. Reporting directly into the Senior Director, Global Sourcing, the Sourcing team is responsible for all indirect spend across the organization. Hours of WorkFull time, permanent Must sit in the US or Canada with a strong preference in EST time zone. Will be working with a global team where some flexibility of hours is required.
