We are looking for a Product Sales Manager (IP) to join our EMEA Product Sales team. Reporting to the Director, Product Sales within Clarivate’s IP segment, the Product Sales Manager will drive new business sales and growth for defined products / solutions into the customer base of the IP group in EMEA region. In this role, sales growth and yearly quota will be achieved through cross selling new products into existing customers and with some new logo acquisition as well. This includes both corporations and law firms.Additionally, you will collaborate with Account Mangers and other commercial stakeholders to implement and execute on product sales strategies.This is an amazing opportunity for someone with prior sales experience and in-depth domain knowledge of selling software or IP solutions.If you have strong business development skills, we would love to speak with you.About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishmentsMinimum 3-5 years of related sales experience in a consultative selling environmentBachelor's degree in related field or at least 4 years of equivalent relevant experiencePrior experience and in-depth domain knowledge of selling software or IP solutions.It would be great if you also had . . .Proven track record of business development in:developing accounts through proactive prospectingdeep discovery to understand customer workflow and content needs.adopting and cultivating strong customer relationships with senior stakeholdersconsistent achievement of commercial targets in a complex sales environmentExcellent organizational, communication, presentation, negotiation, and time management skills Fluency in additional languagesAbility to travel nationally and internationally (20-30%)  What will you be doing in this role?Meet and exceed product sales targets for assigned product(s) (IP Lifecycle Management, consisting of IP software and related IP services) and territory.Prospect for, support and develop new business opportunities both independently and with Account ManagersBuild and develop a robust pipeline with a clear focus on increasing deal size and velocity.Utilize domain expertise to conceive and position value-added solutions to increase deal size.Implement and execute on ‘Sales Plays’ to drive maximum cross sell growth.Cultivate strong customer relationships creating trust and confidence with senior stakeholders to become a trusted advisor to our target customers.Work in alignment with Account Managers and other commercial sellers including Pre-Sales, Bid Management and Customer Success to contribute to territory planning and sales strategies to maximize the Clarivate footprint within our customers. Diligent management of opportunities in SFDC ensuring all information is kept up to date at all times and relevant internal stakeholders are appraised of deal developments.Contribute to and produce reports as required, including outlining current and proposed activities, customer visits, and on pipeline activity, sales forecasts and closing timetables.Work with Sales Enablement, Marketing and other commercial teams to develop and execute sales campaigns and lead generation activities.Pro-actively acquire and develop relevant market, industry and product knowledge and skills to support commercial success.About the TeamThe Product Sales Manager will interact and collaborate with a large team of colleagues, consisting of Account Managers, Customer Success Managers, Solutions / Pre-Sales Consultants as well as Professionals from the Bid Management-, Proposal- and Marketing teams.
