The role of the Account Manager, Digital Sales is to manage an existing list of accounts to achieve the desired retention rates and new business targets. This role can be located on a hybrid basis in the London, Munich or Hamburg office and reports to the Commercial Sales Manager for Digital Sales A&G. This is a great opportunity for an energetic Account Manager to effectively renew a list of existing accounts for the Web of Science and ProQuest business by partnering with the Field Sales Account Management team as well as penetrating defined segments such as the corporate sector with Clarivate's Academia & Government solutions.About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments  A self-starter who is not afraid of taking the initiative and generating their own ideas on how to find and grow new businessPersistent and motivated to overachieve against targetExcellent sales, account management and leadership skillsGreat organization and time management skillsGeneral knowledge and understanding of utilizing SFDCThe ability to work well within a team environmentDesire to grow in your career and work in a fast pace environmentKnowledge of sales automation solutions such as Outreach or Salesloft and prospecting tools like Sales Navigator is a plusPrevious experience working with academic, publishing and content solutions is a plusBachelor's degree or relevant work experience including 2 years of sales experiencePositive & friendly attitudeCurious, flexible and competitiveEnthusiastic and energetic self-starterAbility to work independently and contribute in a team environmentProficiency in MS Teams, Salesforce.com, MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel applications is preferredFluency in German requiredWhat will you be doing in this role? To achieve/exceed territory (DACH) sales plan by achieving the desired retention & new business targetsForecast accurately to your direct manager with constant communication throughout each month Work efficiently with customers and leads to ensure you are following Clarivate’s sales cycle that includes a defined process in Salesforce.Be constantly learning and improving upon your understanding of the relevant set of Clarivate Analytics products that are sold to the user base.Ensure you have a strong understanding of competitor products and services and how we can successfully position ourselves against them.Actively participate in team meetings and events and share your customer, product and sales knowledge with the wider team.Maintain adequate telephone and MS Teams meeting volumes as defined by Sales Management.Responsible for creating and updating account profiles, providing quotes and booking deals on Salesforce.com.Identify potential targets and contact lists for core job roles within existing clientsAbout the Team This role will report to the Commercial Sales Manager working as part of a team of 6 Account Managers, Digital Sales who are predominantly based in the UK.Hours of Work  Full time role, hybrid, 2-3 days’ per week in the London, Munich or Hamburg office.At Clarivate, we are committed to providing equal employment opportunities for all persons with respect to hiring, compensation, promotion, training, and other terms, conditions, and privileges of employment.
