We are looking for a Product Owner to join our team and work with a cloud-based (SaaS) next-generation, library automation software (Alma).About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments Hands-on product owner, keen on details, and enthusiastic about data.At least 2 years of experience in a software organization, involving development or product definition roles.Familiarity with Agile development methodology and best practices.Experience in writing requirements/user stories and designing solutions.Self-motivated and able to work independently.Attention to detail.Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills.Creative thinking, open to unique solutions and thoughts.Self-learning capabilities, fast learner, and independent.Proven ability to deliver results and collaborate with multiple teams."Can do” attitude with strong interpersonal and communication skills.Excellent writing, verbal, and presentation skills – in both English and Hebrew.Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent.It would be great if you also had . . . Background in library sciences or familiarity with the field.Background in Data modeling.What will you be doing in this role? Contribute to the products, share your vision, and participate in creating the product strategy.Work closely with Product Management, designers, and development to groom and prioritize backlog according to product strategy, roadmap, and themes.Serve as a subject matter expert and be the “go-to” person in your area of the product.Gather detailed requirements, ideas, and needs from customers.Collaborate with the UX/UI team to define the user interface requirements and workflows including Mockups, and UX specifications.Write requirements for functional and non-functional needs.Support the development team during feature building.Manage early access to new features by selected customers.Track feature adoption rate and KPIs, solicit customer feedback as needed, and investigate ways to increase feature usage.Support Documentation – Release Notes, OLH review, how-to, guide me, training videos.Demo the new features to the Professional Services, support, and pre-sales teams.Act as the focal point for support and Professional Services.Stay up to date on related industry trends and practices and constantly exchange ideas.Hours of Work / More important information for you:Our base is in the Jerusalem, Israel office, working in a hybrid model.This is a full-time position.Why Ex-Libris?Ex Libris values our employees and strives to create the perfect balance between work and home life.
