This is an amazing opportunity to work on Alma Products. The team consists of 10 people and reports to the Senior Director, Product Manager. We would love to speak with you if you have a passion for creating great products and the ability to understand customers' needs.The ideal candidate for this role should have strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills and experience in the library software industry and product management.About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments  Bachelor’s degree in one of the following fields: Information Science, Data Science, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, Exact Science, or equivalent.Work Experience: 2 years of experience in B2B product management.Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to evaluate market trends, customer feedback, and product data to make informed decisions.Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Ability to articulate product vision and strategies to stakeholders.It would be great if you also had . . .  Professional experience in a library setting.MBA.MLIS - Master of Library and Information Science.What will you be doing in this role? Conduct market research, analyze customer needs, and define the product vision to guide product development and drive business growth.Manage product development: define & manage the scope of work, and closely work with development teams to ensure timely and successful product delivery.Define and communicate product features: Work with the product team to define and prioritize product features and requirements.Collaborate with sales and marketing: Partner with sales and marketing teams on the communication of product features create sales materials and conduct product demonstrations.Measure product success: Use metrics to track product performance and make data-driven decisions to continuously improve the product.Stay up to date with industry trends: Stay informed about industry developments to ensure the product remains competitive.The product you will be developing.Alma Product Manager will join the Alma Product Management team and will be responsible for defining the product features for Alma, the only unified library services platform in the world, managing print, electronic, and digital materials in a single interface.
