Senior Business Intelligence Engineer

We are looking for a Senior Business Intelligence Engineer to join our Operations Consulting Team in Barcelona. This is an amazing opportunity to work on preparing, designing, and developing reports for a company with more than 300 consultants working in the pharmaceutical market.Your job will consist in preparing the Operations data and reports to support Sales, Revenue and Resourcing processes for the company, assessing managing teams with tools that will allow to take better decisions, helping to improve the business.We have a great skill set in and we would love to speak with you if you have skills in reporting, relational databases and ETLs, no matter the sector you have been working previously. About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments University degree and/or master’s degree in engineering, Information technology and/ or other related field with strong quantitative and analytical focus or equivalent experience5-8 years of work experience in a similar positionExperience in ETL tools, data warehouse design, data modelling, and visualization4 + years of experience with BI & analytics tools (SQL, PowerBI or similar technologies)Fluency in English both written and spoken (equivalent to C1-CAE)High attention to detail, responsibility, and customer-oriented attitude. Organized and able to meet internal deadlines.It would be great if you also had . . . Experience in Python, Data Workflow tools and Talend.Experience in working in a global international culture.Experience in reporting and financial analysisWhat will you be doing in this role? Manage and expand the current Business intelligence platform on the Consulting Operations team (based on PowerBI)Manage and administrate databases and the ETL process.Manage and collect data in database to support reporting from our different corporate business systems (Netsuite, SalesForce.Com, OpenAir)Ad-hoc reporting for business ownersProactively recommending improvements for Consulting OperationsAbout the Team BI and Data Operations team is a recently created team inside Operations team which helps the organization to take better decisions through:Visibility and Analytics on key performance indicators.Optimize the use of resources of the company.Also, the team is responds also to questions related to finance and sales inside Clarivate Consulting department which means we provide data for:Sales EnhancementProfitabilityDepartment capacityYou will be reporting to a Team Leader who is a PMO for Clarivate Consulting department.We are a team mostly located in Barcelona working along teams in India, US and UK.Active volunteering community, with 40 annual paid hours of volunteering time30 working days or vacationsPrivate Health and Life & Disability insurancesGlobal and dynamic employee base (more than 20 nationalities)Hours of Work This role is 40hrs/week, reduced to 35hrs during summer, EU hours on a Permanent Contract.
