Associate Translation Specialist

We are looking for a Content Editor to join our Translation team in Chennai/Hyderabad/Kolkata. This is an amazing opportunity to work on Web of Science products. We have a great skill set in translations and we would love to speak with you if you have skills in formatting, content editing and/or document modification.About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments  Work experience: At least 1 year of experience in formatting/desktop publishingKnowledge, skills, or abilities (Proven experience in Microsoft Word, document modification, layout checks) Strong collaboration, motivation, and communication skills with the ability to interact effectively and persuasively with a variety of stakeholders in different geographies.Ability to solve problems, focus on what’s important, eliminate blockers and define priorities.At least 1 year of experience in document processing/desktop publishing/formatting of documents.Minimum qualification expected is Post graduation in any disciplineWhat will you be doing in this role? Converting files from PDF to Word.Performing layout checks on the converted documents to ensure the content and the format match.Ensure quality standards are met.Product you will be developingparagraph (creating a library of product descriptions) About the Team   The team currently has 3 members with the plan of having 5 members in total. The main role of the team is to ensure the documents are prepped and ready for the translators to begin their work.It is a crucial first step in the patent translation process as the end product we deliver to the stakeholders relies heavily on the format of the documentation.
