We're looking for an experienced Cloud Engineer like you to join our team in Spain and help us build and support a catalog of cutting-edge tools and services. By collaborating with Product Engineering, CloudOps, FinOps, and DevOps, you'll use your extensive knowledge of public cloud platforms, Infrastructure as Code, and CI/CD practices to develop innovative, secure, and reliable solutions. With your excellent problem-solving and interpersonal skills, you'll lead project planning and offer valuable advice on leveraging public cloud infrastructure. This is your chance to make a real impact and stay ahead of the curve in a rapidly evolving field.About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments Experience in developing, and deploying services on public cloud platformsExtensive development and scripting experience with common cloud technologies and patternsInfrastructure as Code: Terraform, Cloudformation, Serverless frameworksConfiguration management: Ansible, Chef, Puppet, SaltCI/CD: Jenkins, Code Pipeline, GitObsession with cloud technology and deep knowledge of public cloud provider services and capabilities. Industry certification desirable.Experience in systems administration, information security, storage and networking technologiesComprehensive research and problem solving skills, including the ability to analyze, compare, evaluate, reconcile and order dataGood written communication and interpersonal skills, able to provide status updates and lead project planning meetings at various levels in the organizationSomeone who can stay abreast of rapidly evolving public cloud services, architecture trends, and related technologies.It would be great if you also had . . . Systems Administration knowledgeExperience with working in validated environmentWhat will you be doing in this role?Work with a team of Cloud Engineers to support and build a catalog of easily consumable services, tools, and architecture patterns to accelerate sustainable public cloud deploymentsEngage regularly with Product Engineering staff to support their public cloud needs and help prioritize tool and service enhancementsAct as a product owner for solutions that Cloud Engineering develops. Support, maintain, and enhance a growing collection of tools and patterns used by the organizationBuild and support tools and services that operate at tremendous scale on public cloud platforms. Will utilize Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD practices, and top tier commercial and open source software to operate at scaleWork closely with CloudOps, FinOps, and DevOps to support their needs. Build and enhance tools and services that makes their deployments more efficient, secure, and reliableProvide knowledgeable advice on building solutions on public cloud infrastructure.Product you will be developingThe Cloud Engineering Team is responsible for building a comprehensive catalogue of easy to consume and useful services, tools, and architecture patterns for teams to accelerate reliable, secure, and sustainable public cloud deployments.About the Team  The current team of 6 geographically disperse members work closely with CloudOps and several DevOps teams throughout the organization to implement tools and architecture patterns that enable reliable, sustainable, and secure public cloud infrastructure.Hours of Work This is a full-time employee role, based in Spain.
