If you have a high sense of urgency with a passion for communicating product and company value to current and prospective customers, as well as a proven success in selling and closing customers, creating value, and managing a pipeline, our Product Sales Manager may the position for you. As a Product Sales Manager, you will lead and coordinate sales activities for an assigned territory, utilizing expertise in business development and leveraging external industry networks and resources and internal account managers, solution architects, CRMs and field marketing teams to exceed sales targets. Leveraging your strong interpersonal skills, you will assess the sales process and request participation from executive managers when required; as well as employ successful sales negotiation skills with clients at all levels within an organization, influencing and selling to the executive level decision-maker.About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishmentsBachelor’s degree or relevant, equivalent (field sales) work experienceAt least 3 years of direct field sales professional work experienceIt would be great if you also have . . .Advanced degree in Library Science or related fieldExperience selling Educational TechnologyProficiency in Salesforce & MS office suites - power pointWhat will you be doing in this role?Employs team selling, collaborating with ProQuest Account Manager on opportunities in territory.Influences and motivates others in a matrixed sales organization (including indirect reports to the Sales Specialist) to support and drive towards shared goals.Focuses on new business as part of expanding the Ex Libris-core library software product portfolio within the territory and associated accounts; typically serving as primary point of contact to engage clients on these solutions.Leads RFP coordination and development as needed; collaborates with RFP and product specialist teams to ensure alignment of solutions with prospect/client needs.Maintains awareness of all proposals and may lead discussion with client as needed.Manages the overall health of the account; coordinating routine checkpoints, handling business reviews, participating in new product roadmap discussions, and engaging in client meetings.Fosters client satisfaction and ensures that issues are resolved, working with colleagues in Customer Service and Technical Support.Hours of WorkThis position requires weekday (Monday - Friday) attendance with scheduling flexibility available around core working hours.
