Clarivate’s Life Science and Healthcare Group is looking for a VP of Product Management to lead product strategy and development for the Real-World Data Product Portfolio focused on the needs of life science and healthcare companies, medtech companies and data partners.You will drive the product vision and strategy through the effective leadership of a product management team while providing business leadership to the organization. You will work closely with colleagues in engineering, content, and design to optimize product development processes. Ideal candidates are passionate about understanding user needs and building great products and datasets that solve meaningful problems. Candidates will have the strong analytical and commercial skills needed to align the roadmap with the Life Science and Healthcare commercial strategy to best fit our customer needs and deliver our value in the market. About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments 8+ years of experience as a Director of Product Management or similar leadership role. A track record of managing a >$50m P&L and delivering usage and revenue growth. It would be great if you also had . . . Experience leading and developing a team of product managers. Advanced degreeExperience guiding teams and colleagues through fast-paced and difficult periods of transformation (either fast growth or digital transformation experience) Experience working in with an international team and global customer base a plus. Broad and extensive working knowledge of life sciences/biology/chemistry a plus Key ResponsibilitiesOwn the overall vision, strategy, roadmap and P&L for the Real-World Data Product PortfolioLead a team of product directors and managers. Empower your team to own their individual portfolios in alignment with the overall vision and collaborate effectively with the rest of the Life Science and Healthcare product team. Structure your team, identify resource needs, and recruit top talent accordingly.Develop a world class agile and data driven product development process in partnership with Engineering, UX/UI Design, Data Science, etc. Advocate agile principles throughout the organization, and help the team adopt those principles.Be the voice of your customers and users. Champion their needs both within and outside the organization. Give your team the tools they need to listen to their users.Balance the need to continuously improve the data and existing solutions while working in parallel toward developing a new breed of next generation products and services.Coordinate go-to-market activities in collaboration with Marketing and Sales. Ensure new value propositions are well defined and in support of commercial strategy.Work with other business leads (e.g. Strategy and Business Development, Regulatory, Commercialization), whose products support the researcher and biopharma spaces to ensure a coordinated and cohesive strategy.Ensure alignment with overall strategy through close collaboration with Executive and Strategy teams.Form strong external relationships with the market, including existing and potential partners, both established and new.Model gravitas and demonstrate thought leadership, representing Clarivate at high-level industry events, and in critical meetings with key customers, communicating Clarivate’s position and strategy.Hours of Work This is a full-time position, primarily working core business hours in your time zone, with flexibility to adjust to various global time zones as needed.
