In this role, you will serve as the primary IT contact for the Presidents of the Clarivate business segments or the most senior executive leader (EVP, SVP or VP) of Clarivate’s Shared Services business units (Finance, HR, Marketing, Legal, etc.) and several of their leadership team within their organization. This is achieved by stimulating, surfacing, and shaping demand for capabilities and assets, in addition to ensuring that the potential business value from those capabilities and assets are captured, optimized, and recognized.  You will also partner with other BRMs, IT leaders and IT project managers to ensure consistency in messaging and strategy. Through effective relationship management capabilities, the BRM contributes to the business partner leadership team by actively partnering to determine strategic direction. They will work to identify ways in which the BRM's function can support and advance business objectives.  Additionally, the Sr. BRM shapes business demand into supply by 1) partnering with appropriate resources to facilitate the creation of idea documents, business cases, and value plans; 2) ensuring value optimization and communication; and 3) enabling continuous improvement in all areas and people around them. About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishmentsBachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, business administration or marketing or related field of study2 years of relationship-building and account management experienceIt would be great if you also have . . .5+ years of experience facilitating the development and implementation of business initiatives and projects, based on management objectives Experience leading a globally dispersed IT team over multiple continentsExperience with leveraging data and analytics solutions to drive operational efficienciesExperience driving and delivering an IT roadmap focused on leveraging the value of standard solutionsWhat will you be doing in this role?Strategic Partnering and Strategy Partner with business leaders to articulate their business’ needs and requirements that will advance business performance. Partner with business leadership to plan new joint initiatives, evaluate proposals, and determine how they fit into business capability roadmaps and priorities. Think strategically by identifying business opportunities and the best-suited position for the adoption within the business partner organization. Measure adoption and work with business leadership to develop future roadmap and opportunities. Develop and maintain a roadmap of IT services and initiatives including applications, security, data, infrastructure, and other IT capabilities that align with the business’ strategy, Brief stakeholders on business partner plans. Collaborate with IT teams to ensure the successful deliver of projects, including project planning, scoping, and budgeting. Be creative and innovative with regards to your knowledge and awareness of industry trends and digital advances as they relate to new opportunities and business needs. Share ownership of the BRM's functional operating and project/program budget at an operating unit level; and perform accurate budgeting and forecasting across operations and projects or programs. Identify opportunities to improve IT services and develop plans for implementation. Partnership and Delivery Lead as the strategic interface between Global IT and business partner to stimulate, surface, and shape business demand and ensure that the potential business value from those assets and capabilities is captured, realized, optimized, and recognized. Develop a deep knowledge of the business partner’s business and build positive relationship development, both horizontally and vertically. Ensure business value realization and optimization, from value plans through consultancy, business case development, financial awareness, managing expectations, and identifying opportunities to add value. This role is the ultimate IT leader accountable to operationalize the IT strategy, deliver on-time and in-budget, enable/advocate for the necessary process transformations, and finally ensure adoption and value realization. Ensure project and initiative progress, including consistent and effective communication. This includes managing escalation and avoiding risk. As the senior IT leader for the function, this role is the senior point of scalation for IT day-to-day operations and is also accountable to drive our vision of IT exceptional experiences by partnering with the different IT groups in a culture of shared ownership. Measure and communicate business value realized with the business partner on a periodic basis. About the TeamThe BRM team is responsible for representing the Company’s Shared Services organizations including Human Resources, Finance, Legal, Customer Care, and Marketing as well as our three business segments.  The BRMs will serve as the primary IT contact for the Presidents of the Clarivate business segments or the most senior executive leader (EVP or SVP) of Clarivate’s Shared Services business units and several of their leadership team within their organization.
