Senior IP Product Analyst - The main purpose of this role is to analyse, interpret, and test new or modified intellectual property laws, and implement them into Clarivate’s IP Management Software Systems. Subsequently, the law updates are published to customers including release notes and other related documentation. This helps customers keep their IP portfolio up to date. The reporting would be to the Manager – IP Product.We are looking for a Senior Analyst, IP Product to join our IP Laws team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on IP Portfolio Management software. This team member will utilize their intellectual property expertise to assist in the analysis, implementation, and release of statutory due dates in the portfolio management systems’ periodic law updates.About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments  Bachelor’s degree2+ years of experience in the intellectual property fieldProficiency in Microsoft Office products and other tools that may be required or day-to-day work.Other Required Skills and Experience:Superior written and oral communication skills with the ability to translate law changes into technical requirements accompanied by easily understood end-user documentation.Proficiency in Microsoft Office products and other tools that may be required for day-to-day workWell-developed interpersonal and active listening skillsGood investigative & analytical skills.Ability to quickly respond to changes.Capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment.Flexibility, attention to detail, and a good team player.Open to learning new skills as a part of continual improvement and overall enhancement of the process.Continual drive to build knowledge of intellectual property through participation in IP trainings and other opportunities within Clarivate.Detail Oriented: someone who pays attention to the details and can make a conscious effort to understand causes instead of just the effects.Solution Oriented: Having a drive for getting to the solution of a given problem.Ownership: Good at taking initiative or being proactive.Looking at the Bigger Picture: Determining the key facts about a situation and the effects of that situation on other things.It would be great if you also had . . .  Experience in IP Management SoftwareExperience with Microsoft SQL ServerWhat will you be doing in this role? The primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Draft implementation requirements and implement identified configuration changes according to defined processes and best practices into assigned IP management system.Participate in the QA review of implementation requirements drafted by peers.Enhance or amend existing configuration pertaining to assigned internal projects or client queries.Utilize and update internal tracking tools on progress of implementations.Provide support to subscribers and colleagues on the law settings and law upgrade process; advise clients and colleagues on best practices.Analyse instructions from the legal researchers on new or modified IP laws and implement/test law changes in the software assigned.Draft detailed descriptions of law changes in the form of release notes/bulletins.Analyse changes produced when applying law update release candidates against fictional client data identifying potential issues or anomalies.Closely collaborate with the Quality/Testing team to ensure the implementation is working as intended.Review, research, and analyse support queries from clients and assist in determining comprehensive resolutions.Work closely with the customer law support team on issues and questions reported by the customer.Adhere to internal and external project time schedules.Participate in internal projects and initiatives related to business, over & above release work.High level understanding of how Clarivate’s other IP management systems implement cases in order to be able to adopt best practices from each other.About the Team   Our team is responsible for providing periodic releases of IP law updates to our clients in accordance with new laws or law changes.  The main purpose of this role is to analyse, interpret, and test new or modified intellectual property laws, and implement them into Clarivate’s IP Management Software Systems. Subsequently, the law updates are published to customers including release notes and other related documentation. This helps customers keep their IP portfolio up to date.
