We are looking for a Content Ingestion Analyst to help establish a new operations team in Hyderabad, India. The analyst will report to a Content Ingestion Manager and will present opportunities to work with multiple ProQuest product lines (PQIS, Dissertations) in a variety of content disciplines (ETL, XML transformation, web-harvesting, etc.).About You Bachelor’s degree in Library and Information Science, Liberal Arts, or Computer Science or equivalent combination of education and experience.1 year or more experience in handling content analysis and editing.Experience in transforming scholarly and other content types in a similar industry or through related coursework.Ability to review XML, HTML and other markup and understand the mechanics behind website functionality.Excellent critical and logical thinking, including the ability to analyze, evaluate, and determine solutions.It would be great if you also had...Master’s degree in Library and Information Science, Liberal Arts, or Computer Science.Experience working in a Scrum development environment.Experience using regular expressions.What you will be doing in this role?Develop mappings and transformations to add content to products, migrate content sources to new manufacturing methods, and perform break/fix analysis and repair using third-party or internal applications.Create web-harvesting or transformation services, cross-referencing data structure with the capabilities of system and product requirements.Communicate status and maintain reports throughout all phases of new content, migration, project, and sustaining work.Share functional and technical knowledge with team members.Contribute to problem solving, collaboration, process improvement, and information sharing.About the Team You will be working with an established North American ingest team that regularly collaborates with content owners, product managers, editorial teams, systems administrators, and manufacturing staff to ensure that our content supports product and platform needs.Hours of Work 9 hours (including 1 hr break; in IST) Working afternoon hours to overlap with the North American team for training/collaboration is desirable.At Clarivate, we are committed to providing equal employment opportunities for all persons with respect to hiring, compensation, promotion, training, and other terms, conditions, and privileges of employment.
