Associate Content Ingestion Analyst monitors a variety of U.S. and international websites to acquire relevant statistical publications that meet our collection criteria in electronic format (PDFs). The role also includes meticulous document control skills using Excel spreadsheets to ensure a comprehensive collection is maintained to meet customer expectations. Team member delivers content to appropriate teams for content preparation and/or content indexing in a timely manner for eventual upload to platform for user searches. About You Bachelor’s degree plus at least 1-year related experience in a technology-focused content editing/indexing/analysis role.Knowledge in acquiring content that may include downloading large sets of documents, printing HTML to PDF, converting Word docs to PDF, text formatting, image redaction, and other document creation tasks.Knowledge in creating and updating bibliographic records, tracking and importing documents, verifying end of production cycle completeness, detecting and correcting errors, and other related tasks as assigned.Strong knowledge of English grammar, punctuation and writing skills, and an ability to express ideas clearly and logically.It would be great if you also had . . . Familiarity with government, history, politics, or statistics (mainly U.S.)Knowledge of databases and conversion of CSV/Excel files to PDF.Experience working with periodicals.Strong communication skills in a global environment.What will you be doing in this role? Acquiring comprehensive collection of statistical content in timely manner.Performing meticulous document control and accuracy tasks.Creating compilations of documents for American Statistics Index, Index to International Statistics, and/or Statistical Reference Index products.ProductThe role resides within the Content Operations group of ProQuest – a part of Clarivate.About the Team The team works on statistical publications from the U.S. Government, state governments, foreign governments, intergovernmental organizations, universities and research centers, independent research organizations, trade and professional associations, non-profit groups, business organizations, and commercial publishers. The Associate Content Ingestion Analyst acquires content from assigned agencies/sectors in electronic format. The PQSI acquisitions team consists of six people and is reporting to the Content Manager in India.
