We embrace diversity in thought and contribution and are committed to providing an equitable work environment. that is foundational to our core values as a company and is vital to our success. ResponsibilitiesResponsible for pre-sale support of all company products and servicesProvides technical support in sales presentations, customer meetings, trade shows, and other forums, including leading detailed technical data center toursResponsible for pre-installation requirements for handoff to Customer Service group and general project management activitiesProvides answers to customer inquiries concerning all Equinix products and servicesAssists in RFI/P/Q preparation as requested by Sales RepresentativesWorks closely with sales teams to earn new business and maintain existing customer relationshipsMust travel 25%QualificationsRequires a BS degree or equivalent experience in computer-related fieldChannel related technical Sales support and experience desirableExperience working on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factorsAbility to exercise judgment within generally defined practices and policies in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutionsAbility to understand and explain related technical issues, thorough knowledge of company products, all potential applications and associated technologiesEffective communication skills requiredThe targeted pay range for this position in the following location is / locations are:California (Non-SF/Bay Area), Connecticut, Maryland, New York, New Jersey, Washington state:  $125,000 to $217,000Our pay ranges reflect the minimum and maximum target for new hire pay for the full-time position determined by role, level, and location. Individual pay is based on additional factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education and/or training.This position may be offered in other locations.
