Sigma is looking for a product marketing leader who can plan, create, and deliver high-quality content for our key verticals — finance, healthcare, retail, and others. The ideal Senior Verticals Product Marketer will be a creative and passionate storyteller — someone who can take our core message of “why Sigma” and translate that into meaningful material for partners. You’ll be working with, of course, partners, but also with Sigma’s product and partner organizations, so the ability to understand others’ needs and concerns is paramount. This person will thrive in building a new path rather than following an established plan and will be comfortable working in a rapidly-changing environment. Our ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, excited about the different facets of marketing, and flexible to changing priorities. This role will be responsible for supporting the entire Sales and Marketing teams and will report to the Vice President of Product Marketing.
What you’ll do:
Support the Sales and Marketing teams’ initiatives for verticals with the planning, executing, and tracking of marketing campaigns
Deeply understand the personas, issues, needs, and be the “go to” person for Sigma’s verticals
Create a plan for the creation of product marketing content to support the Sigma go-to-market strategy for verticals
Write and/or coordinate the production of written and video content explaining the Sigma value proposition within the vertical
Build sales decks and sales enablement content specific to verticals
Create use cases, examples, demos and content specific to each vertical explaining how Sigma solves critical business problems specific to that
Enable partner sales teams to effectively sell Sigma solution specific to the vertical
Assist in core product marketing activities such as launch planning, community-building, content creation, etc. as needed
Qualifications :
A natural storyteller who is able to make complex ideas and messages compelling and easy to understand
A excellent writer — from long-form to emails to presentations to video scripts — who can turn ideas into content that can be broadly shared with the team and with partners
Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, communications, or a related field
3-5 years of experience in marketing
Must have strong organizational and project management skills, as well as attention to detail
An understanding of one or more of the verticals of Finance, Healthcare, Retail — and demonstrated success in tailoring messaging and content to that vertical
Excellent verbal communication skills
A firm grasp on the analytics market including elements of the analytics stack
Must be a self-starter and able to independently move projects forward, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
Must have strong analytical skills to analyze metrics and create reports
Must have a high level of creativity
Occasional travel may be required
