This role reports into the Equinix Transformation office, with a direct line to the Operations Leader.  This role will focus on the design, operation, and orchestration of the Equinix Operating Model ensuring expected strategic outcomes are being met.  This role will align and partner with cross functional teams to drive business review processes and progress against priorities. This role will bring transformational leadership to foster and drive operational excellence and a mindset of outcome-based planning and execution across Equinix.ResponsibilitiesLead and maintain key operating mechanisms that establish a consistent cadence for focus and accountability of the top Equinix prioritiesEnsure operational metrics are defined, establish system/process for supervising metrics and cadence for review for the most critical Equinix prioritiesPartner, advise and work with other cross functional business operations teams to deliver on outcomesOwn and execute executive-level presentations (such as Monthly Business Reviews, Quarterly Business Reviews)Act as an evangelist for the Equinix strategy and prioritiesMonitor the health of the operating model, gathering feedback on what’s working vs. not and adapt as neededUnderstand issues, identify the root cause and articulate it in an actionable way, frame options to resolve it, and drive the decision on those options with the relevant stakeholdersAddress program and interpersonal conflict head-on and tactfullyEffective communicator with sufficient business acumen and operational experience to advise and influence the most senior executives across the companySeeks and takes council from senior leaders to analyze complex problems per feedback and develop recommended actionBring transformational leadership to drive change in behavior across EquinixStrategically evaluate and drive alignment and decision-making Facilitates diverse groups in process workshops and design sessions QualificationsExperience leading complex, enterprise-wide transformational programs that touch on various areas of the business and deliver high impact/ROI10+ years' experience leading business operations teams at a high growth tech company or technology-focused enterpriseExperience working in an agile environment, leading teams using Agile thinkingAbility to think through & manage around potential upstream and downstream impactUnderstanding of the linkages between business, policies, processes and behaviors/mindsets; identifies integration risks and cross functional dependencies proactively and quickly implements mitigation plansExperience and understanding of customers’ and employees’ view of the businessSignificant experience influencing and leading initiatives with C-suite executivesSkills and AttributesFocus on execution and results: establishing high standards for performance, setting goals and developing plans, following through and holding people accountable for resultsSelf-starter: comfortable with ambiguity and understands complex business problems and drives understanding, consensus, and resolution High EQ:  influential change-leader who can actively listen, challenge the status quo while build followership and support by bringing people alongAbility to work and influence cross functionallyResiliency in the face of challenge: Ability to lead teams through difficult situations and pressures Effective business leader who can build relationships across the organization and balance tradeoffs ​Equinix is committed to ensuring that our employment process is open to all individuals, including those with a disability.
