Regional Change Mangers are responsible to implementing and controlling the Change Management Policy and Processes regionally that involves capturing, analyzing and approving change works affecting the live infrastructure operating environment. Drive continuous service improvement working closely with the Service Management Team to ensure the best quality of service to our customers and alignment of processes.  .ResponsibilitiesCoordinates and controls the lifecycle of Changes, ensure policy, processes and KPIs are metReviews all new submitted CMR´s on daily basisDetermine required level of authorization for the assessment of a proposed change and chair the Change Advisory BoardInterface between Global Operations Service Management and external departments.Drive tool improvement and new features requestInvestigate and log failed and unsuccessful changes define and track improvement actionsIdentify operational issues related to change and suggest process or tool alterations to address these issuesWorking in a distributed Global Operations Engineering teamSupport to plan schedule infrastructure maintenances and upgrades when appropriateThis position may participate in on call rotation to support infrastructure change managementMay perform other duties as assignedQualificationsITIL experience and applied knowledge in technical change managementApplied knowledge and experience with data center electrical and mechanical infrastructure and topologiesFlexibility, able to work cross border and functions3+ years of experience in the data center operations engineeringBachelor’s Degree in electrical or mechanical engineering or comparable work experience in a related disciplineEquinix is an Equal Employment Opportunity and, in the U.S., an Affirmative Action employer.
