In your role as SSA (Sales Support Associate) you will be acting as a project manager for all pre-sales activities. As a team, we are responsible for tracking and coordinating progress on all opportunity-related requests, such as legal agreements, quotes, and customer signatures.As our SSA, you play a key role in project handling pre-sales activities and you work cross-functionally to solve issues related to quotes, orders and data. You are the pre-sales operations contact who coordinates tasks seamlessly behind the scenes. You are handling multiple deals across the EMEA region ensuring they conform to Equinix standards, making sure the scope and direction of each is on schedule. Additionally, where there is a policy, process tool or system change impacting the customer or Sales, the SSA will make sure they are aware and help them through adoption.ResponsibilitiesPre-Sales Administration and Transactions CoordinationCoordinates all pre-sales activity for small- and medium-size customersCollects complete and correct data upfrontValidates data for accuracyKeeps systems up-to-date with customer information and legal documentsManages cases according to regional Case Management guidelinesOversees quote approval processAssists with New Customer set upHandles escalation between Sales Support and other internal groupsOperates in the optimized case load rangeWorks on small projects in addition to everyday roleCustomer EngagementFollows up with customer on required documents and missing informationEnsures Customer PO complianceFollows up on ordersAssists with customer questions via email or phoneAssists with gathering preliminary QBR infoComplex Deal SupportProject manages single country, large, complex dealsManages all changes and keeps the quote and documents up to dateEngages cross-functional teams to coordinate requirements against deadlinesData IntegrityHandles Internal Service Tickets to resolve Credit and Billing issuesExecutes Data corrections in Siebel based on fall out reportFacilitates SFDC opportunity management by cleaning up opportunities based on guidelinesProcess and Policy adoption and reinforcementTrains Sales reps on new tools, processes, and policiesDelivers refresher trainings to address knowledge gapsCommunicates process improvements and enhancements to Sales TeamQualifications Proven years of experience preferred Bachelor's degree preferredEquinix is committed to ensuring that our employment process is open to all individuals, including those with a disability.
