The position will be based in one of the following locations: Tampa, FL ResponsibilitiesRisk TransferSupport gathering annual renewal exposures and application data across multiple functions globallyEngage with construction project managers to maintain construction project tracker for builder’s risk insurance reportingCoordinate with insurers and brokers to conduct natural hazard assessments for mergers and acquisitions and support new property reporting processTrack assets and data collection for environmental insurance reporting, including storage tanks and environmental site assessmentsAnalyze various data sources for reporting fixed assets valuesProcess certificate of insurance requestsEvaluate systems to streamline data collection and identify process improvement opportunitiesAccounting/BudgetManage supplier set up, PO creation and invoice processing in payment systemReconcile broker premium invoices against bound policies, process invoices and maintain regular payment trackingReconcile department monthly insurance accountsDevelop premium allocation for Equinix and hyperscale assets and coordinate cross charge requestsDepartment Communication & PlanningDevelop and maintain all components of department intranet website, including enhanced self-service capabilitiesMaintain updates to Risk Management manualsReview Risk Management shared email box for distribution to team membersReview and track database of insurance terms in real estate leasesClaimsAssist with reporting and tracking claims dataCreate quarterly claims reports and analyze data for trends and mitigation opportunitiesQualificationsBachelor’s degree required, preferably in Risk Management, Finance, International Business or equivalent field of studyOne to three years of working experience with an insurance broker or risk management department, including related internshipsExcellent written and verbal communication, analytical and interpersonal skills, precise attention to detail and strong commitment to meeting deadlines in a fast-paced work environmentSuperior systems capabilities including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Teams), Sharepoint, SmartsheetsEquinix is committed to ensuring that our employment process is open to all individuals, including those with a disability.
