Job Summary As Product Manager, Strategic Solutions, you will play a key role in shaping and advancing two critical components of our Strategic Solutions product practice: Storage & OEM Partner Solutions. This will make Equinix Metal and our broader digital services portfolio the “platform of choice” for these essential components of the digital infrastructure ecosystem. This is an individual contributor role reporting to the Director of Product Management – Strategic Solutions, Equinix Metal. Responsibilities Product roadmap and execution plan associated with “how we do Storage” for Equinix Metal customers, identifying, researching, and defining the partnerships (both hardware and software) Own critical and trajectory changing strategy and product relationships for our most important OEM partners – Dell, Supermicro, Pure Storage, HPE, Netapp, NVIDIA, IBM, and more to ensure that we build and run the products, features, programs, and processes Know and help drive/harness innovation in the Storage Landscape Facilitate solution collaboration across product teams Work seamlessly with our alliances and channel teams Ensure that measurable outcomes lead the way; own your impact on our north star metrics Prioritize initiatives for impact, deriving success by improving the leading indicators you can directly act uponQualifications 5+ years of experience in Cloud/XaaS as product manager/developer or related area3 years+ experience as a product manager working with storage software, ideally, cloud storageBachelor's degree required in a related, technical field of studyKnow the Digital Infrastructure Ecosystem: you will be a subject matter expert when it comes to all things happening in the digital infrastructure industry, specifically the investments, innovations, and priorities of our large OEM partnersUnderstands and modern supply chain dynamics: cost, efficiency, global logistics and how it can be improved to deliver customer value, how it impacts sustainability, their business models, GTM motions, channel and resellers, VARs, and System IntegratorsExperienced at adjusting these channels for a cloud-first, digital native worldExperienced cross-functional/organization/region influencer/collaborator able to navigate complex landscapesExcellent communication skills with the ability to interface at all levels of the organization The targeted pay range for this position in the following location is / locations are:San Francisco, CA / Bay Area: $111,000 to $185,000California (Non-SF/Bay Area), Connecticut, Maryland, New York, New Jersey, Washington state: $104,000 to $172,000Colorado, Nevada, Rhode Island: $94,000 to $156,000Our pay ranges reflect the minimum and maximum target for new hire pay for the full-time position determined by role, level, and location. Individual pay is based on additional factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education and/or training.This position may be offered in other locations.
