This person should be skilled in financial modelling and financial statement analysis, understand accounting policies, be meticulously organized, and have an #inserviceto mindset. The Senior Analyst gets exposure to the entire global P&L and is expected to gain an understanding of the internal/external operations of the business.ResponsibilitiesSupports the annual budgeting, forecasting and monthly reporting of xScale related financial statements, KPIs and Metrics.Ability to build and interpreted financial models for scenario analysis Coordinates with partners and teams in the Americas, Europe and AsiaExposure to several currencies, international operations and technical accounting complexity across Equinix's existing Joint VenturesWorks both independently and with the team to create, modify, and update a suite of company metric reports and dashboards to identify trends and key drivers of the businessDetermines the best source for data, ad hoc reports and analysis, and presents a summary of findings to managementAbility to create financial models for scenario analysis regarding potential business decisionsQualifications3+ years budgeting, financial analysis, spreadsheet modeling, and database reporting experience (e.g., Hyperion)BSc in Finance or accountingAbility to effectively manage time and priortize multiple projects in a fast-paced environmentAbility to work well independently and in groupsProven problem solving and critical thinking skillsStrong written and oral communication skillsExcellent analytical skills with an attention to detailEquinix is committed to ensuring that our employment process is open to all individuals, including those with a disability.
