The candidate will be responsible for the design, development, and operations of the platform/product for customers to meet their sustainability goals. The ideal candidate will have experience with Java development, cloud-based application development, and Agile-scrum methodology. You will be responsible for crafting, designing, developing, and operating intuitive and visually spectacular user interfaces for our software products. The candidate will be responsible for operating in a DevOps environment and working with a globally distributed development team with minimal supervision. The successful candidate will possess excellent communication and organization skills and a customer-focused attitude. They will be a great teammate, demonstrate high curiosity, and be driven to get results relentlessly.ResponsibilitiesWork with Product Management and other key stakeholders to develop effective and efficient business solutions in sustainabilityResponsible for delivering solutions that meet business objectives in alignment with architectural principles & guidelinesResponsible for hands-on design and development of highly available, scalable, secure, data-intensive, concurrent, globally distributed applicationsDevelop User Interface, Microservices & Restful APIs in line with industry standardsResponsible for operating in a DevSecOps environment with quality first attitudeParticipate in the design & peer code review processResponsible for solving and fixing production issues with SLA complianceParticipate in continuous grooming in collaboration with the Product OwnerWork in a Globally Distributed Development team environment with minimal supervisionQualificationsBachelor's or master's degree or equivalent with 3+ years of experience in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field of educationStrong computer programming foundation with knowledge of Data Structures, Concurrency, Algorithms, Design Patterns, and Best Practices3+ years of strong Java development experienceMust have strong skills in enterprise Java technology stack including JEE, Spring Boot, JPA/Spring Data, REST APIs, Swagger, maven, Hibernate ORM, JUnit, TestNG and stress testing tools such as JMeter/Load RunnerExpertise in data modeling and relational design using RDBMS and NoSQL such as Redis, MongoDBStrong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and related web technologies3+ years of Experience with front-end frameworks such as React or AngularKnowledge of Micro front-end (MFE) architectureKnowledge of UI design principles and best practicesExperience with user-centered design methodologies and usability testingStrong understanding of cross-browser compatibility and web accessibility standardsExperience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Istio. Experience using a public cloud like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
