You must have a passion for employee engagement, developing integrated communications strategies, content creation and storytelling with an ability to proactively create and execute across a dynamic and fast-growing organization. Reporting to the Director of Communications for CRO, you will serve as a strategic program lead within the corporate communications team. In this role, you will develop and execute internal communications strategies that build an inspiring employee experience that supports our vibrant culture and fosters a clear understanding of Equinix’s mission, goals, and strategy, all through a programmatic approach that delivers measurable impact. You will serve as a strategic communications partner to executives within both Revenue Operations and Marketing, providing counsel and support for a broad range of high-profile internal communication efforts. As needed, you will also develop, execute and support external communications involving these leaders, including platform and thought leadership content development, social media, and integrating with other communications practice areas. ResponsibilitiesAs part of communications team supporting the Customer and Revenue Organization (CRO), you will lead executive and internal Communications for two related, but distinct functions: Revenue Operations (RevOps) and Marketing. In support of the business goals, you will: Design, build, and roll out creative employee communications programs that increase awareness, understanding, engagement and fosters a deep emotional connection across a broad employee base Hone your storytelling expertise as an incredible writer who brings out the magic of Equinix – by finding and developing compelling narratives and creating holistic campaigns that deeply resonate Develop and execute all-hands, town halls and other events - including presentation development, managing materials, logistics and coordination with speakers Lead and/or contribute to other employee engagement activities– both within the RevOps and Marketing organizations and broader cross-functional efforts aligned to business needs Develop content, including messaging, executive emails, briefing documents, talking points, video scripts, newsletters and Q&A documents as needed Understand and apply trends in internal communications tools, applications, channels, design and strategy, helping us be an innovative and experimental team Oversee the measurement of programs, and develop recommendations to continually improve the quality and effectiveness of employee communications and engagement within the Revenue Operations and Marketing teams Executive platform development & execution Elevate the voices of executives on specific topics aligned with Equinix’s strategy and the outcomes, value, and innovation customers and partners can create through Platform Equinix Develop points of view and create opportunities for executives to have a voice and future perspective on key topical issues Develop and evolve communications platforms for executive(s) within these teams Partner with the PR, AR, Social, and other communications leaders to drive external engagement opportunities across priority audiences and topics as needed Where a priority, assess executives’ social media presence (LinkedIn) and develop SoMe strategy, create content and maintain calendar as needed Achieve cross-functional alignment and executionWork collaboratively and cross functionally to ensure alignment, consistency and promote key priorities across CRO Actively engage with regional organizations, HR, Sales, and Global Customer Care and Experience Partner with global corporate communications team to ensure consistency with global strategy Qualifications 10+ years’ communications experience – creating and implementing strategies and developing online content; ideally having worked with a Fortune 500 B2B technology companies Demonstrated excellence in strategic storytelling, writing/editing, project management, strategic planning and execution, executive coaching, event management, crisis management/communications, change management, and multimedia communications Experience managing content for web, video, social and print and development of content strategy Experience collaborating with go-to-market, marketing, data/insight functions, and/or sales teams Strong planning and project management skills and the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment Digital acumen and knowledge of digital communications trends and standards/designs/best practices including user experience for web, email, mobile and social media Experience with metrics gathering and reporting to measure communication performance, to optimize going forward and to understand audience behaviors Experience with visual design and layout and working with creative resources is a plus Crisis communications experience, as well as experience dealing with sensitive workforce and workplace issues Bachelor's degree in marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related area preferred Strong understanding of key technology and communication tools, including PowerPoint, Microsoft Word, SharePoint, Smartsheet, Slido and Poppulo, as well as a willingness and ability to quickly embrace new tools Skill and Attributes Bring innovative thinking, creative ideas, an external perspective, global and regional insights, diverse perspectives, and higher-level awareness into everything you do A collaborative leader capable of building cross-functional relationships to drive change and influence business decisions;
