Job SummaryThe Operations Compliance Specialist (Intermediate level) develops professional expertise while resolving variety of issues with the support of line management. What you will be doingFields communications from first line of defense: requests for assistance, questions, reports of non-compliance compile and communicates responsesSupports compliance investigations to ensure the comprehensive gathering of supporting evidence materialSupports the implementation of standards and regulatory requirementsInvestigates non-compliance matters to determine the root cause, circumstances and contributing factorsAudits & CertificationsPlanning of internal and external audits across Equinix AMER data centers for ISO 9001, ISO 22301, ISO 27001, PCI-DSS, SOC1 and SOC2 and any other applicable standards, including coordinating with internal/external partners as required on planning of auditsProvides developed site level logistical support for compliance audits (internal and external)Extracts list of open findings for site(s) in scopeMaintains and distributes certification assets to stakeholders internal and external to EquinixCollects and coordinates developed audit evidence assetsPerforms an initial review of audit evidence assets and coordinates to ensure that non-compliance findings are closed in a timely manner Management SystemsProvides support for management review meetingsFollows all local procedures that are developed to comply with local legislative and Equinix requirementsMaintains a level of required compliance records in local/global repositories including records relevant to Operations compliance (Quality, Information Security, Business Continuity and EHS)Manages document change requests for compliance related process assets Tracks moderate compliance process asset updatesProgram ManagementProduces compliance reports for management, including key performance indicators and metrics with assistance from senior team membersParticipates in process improvement initiatives and compliance projectsAnswers queries on compliance tools/systems and manages the tool as an administratorTrainingEnsure training requirements have been met and tracks completion Maintains compliance information on competencies and certifications that are required for tasks and rolesCarries out training for Data Centers and Operations on internal tools and policies, as requiredTracks relevant mandatory compliance trainingWhat you should haveAssociate’s or bachelor’s degree in a related subject preferred2+ years of experience managing compliance with preferable in the data center field or comparable sectors such as IT, telecommunication, or other industrial environmentsPrevious compliance audit experience as an internal/external auditorCertified lead auditor for any of the standards is preferredKnowledge of compliance industry best practicesWorking knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 22301, ISO 27001, PCI-DSS, SSAE18 SOC1 or SOC2 is a plusExperience working with various cross-functional teams and across multi-cultural environmentsMust be able to travelAdvanced english“Equinix is an equal employment opportunity employer.
