ResponsibilitiesBe responsible for the understanding and development of new features in an existing MVC based architecture product and new product assigned as per priorityCollaborate actively in technical discussions with an open mindset of understanding the root cause of any features/improvements with local/globally distributed teamsAcquaint with company-level UI components and help to develop reusable componentsFollow the best coding principles to develop responsive applications that are aligned with the wireframesDeliver quality products within the stipulated time supported by the wireframes/mock-upsIdentify bottlenecks and bugs by bringing up the shortcomings, and devise solutions to these problems before they change into risksPromptly resolve production issues based on priority - with a focus on unblocking the customer, and ensuring problems do not recurQualificationsBS in computer science or equivalent with 2+ years or MS in computer science or equivalent with 10+ years of hands-on professional software development experience architecting, building, deploying, and maintaining customer-facing UI at scale in an innovative engineering environmentMust have experience in Front-end with expertise in cloud-based application development with in-depth knowledge of primary skills of React along with its latest new featuresExperience with multiple architecture styles on consuming micro-services in the user interfaceKnowledge and mid-level experience in architecting and building large-scale systems using a scale-out architecture that requires high availability, performance, high scalability, and multi-tenancyReal-world experience with continuous integration and delivery using a public cloud such as AWS, Azure, or GCP and container technologies such as Docker will be a plusHands-on experience with Agile-scrum methodology and TDDA sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on the company’s successCritical thinking and problem-solving skillsGood time-management skillsGood interpersonal and communication skillsEquinix is committed to ensuring that our employment process is open to all individuals, including those with a disability.
