We embrace diversity in thought and contribution and are committed to providing an equitable work environment. that is foundational to our core values as a company and is vital to our success.*As of Quarter 4 2022ResponsibilitiesFacility/Infrastructure MaintenancePerforms site inspections and monitors the building and Data Center alarmsPerforms preventative maintenance on site infrastructure (e.g. maintenance of primary infrastructures), or manages vendorsLeads repairs and corrective maintenanceAdvises other team members on repairs and preventative maintenanceLeads and coordinates critical infrastructure operationsSite AdministrationCompletion of site logs and issuing of permits, such as MOPs and scriptsIncident ManagementInstruct on-site staff during incidentsWork OrdersLeads others with work requests and circuit installationsPerforms capacity managementCollaborationIdentifies and understands underlying issues probes the factsCan identify component level faults and provide recommendations for new proceduresUtilizes resources outside of the department as necessaryAdditional ProjectsLeads infrastructure project activitiesMay recommend infrastructure projectsQualifications5+ years experience with Critical Facilities in a Data Center environment preferredDiploma and above in an Engineering field preferredEquinix is committed to ensuring that our employment process is open to all individuals, including those with a disability.
