We embrace diversity in thought and contribution and are committed to providing an equitable work environment. that is foundational to our core values as a company and is vital to our success.ResponsibilitiesPerforms site inspections and monitors the facility and Data Center alarmsPerforms preventative maintenance on site infrastructure (e.g. maintenance of primary infrastructures), or manages vendorsUndertakes repairs and corrective maintenanceAssists Team Lead in coordinating critical infrastructureCompletion of site logs and data gathering for permits, such as MOPs and scriptsResponds to all on-site incidents and acts as the need arisesMay instruct staff during incidentsCompletes sophisticated work requests and circuit installationsEffectively collaborates with internal and external departmentsProvides input to his peers during critical maintenance activitiesWorks through issues in a confident, positive way; is able to influence without authorityCarries out more sophisticated infrastructure projectsQualifications3+ years experienceHigh School DiplomaAble to perform all crucial job functions, including walking, standing, bending, stooping, climbing, lifting and manual dexterity, with or without reasonable accommodationAbility to work days/nights/weekends/holidays, if needed and/or requiredAble to lift heavy equipment/items up to 50 poundsEquinix is committed to ensuring that our employment process is open to all individuals, including those with a disability.
