Job SummaryThe HR Manager, Chile is the primary point of contact for local managers and employees on employee relations and performance management matters. The HR Manager will also partner with managers and HR Business Partners on manager coaching, organizational changes, and HR programs & processes. Will take lead on complex (up to Senior Director) employee relations, performance, and investigation matters. Also will undertake Advisory project co-ordination role and activities in service to Country MD and LATAM HRBP.ResponsibilitiesER Issue ResolutionAssesses, diagnoses, and coaches managers and employees through complex employee relations and performance management issues through process coaches and develops managers resulting in their improved understanding and ability to prevent and/or manage future issuesReceives & resolves HR / ER queries escalated from HR Shared Services.Flags and reports issues that should be handled elsewhere, e.g. by HRSS, HRBPs or COEsHR Programs & ProcessExecutes HR programs and coaches managers on HR process, including interpretation of local requirementsLeads implementation of people change projects, including consultationsManages Pulse results and plans at a country levelDelivers / executes global programs (e.g. GPS, OA, talent reviews)Understands legal & regulatory environment and country compliance requirementsManages union/work council/partner relationships and local employee representative bodies where in place, inclusive of external union official relationships when requiredManager Coaching & DevelopmentProactively coaches managers in team effectiveness, workforce planning, and management developmentMay include training and development facilitation for manager development, team and management effectiveness, etc.Advises, coaches, and guides people managers in good practiceOrganizational ChangesEmployee level execution for organizational changes; may contribute to analysis and recommend organizational changes and employee impact decisions; takes lead on change efforts with select managers or teamsInternal HR PartnershipPartners with HR Shared Services as they hand off transactional work for completionPartners with Talent Management, Talent Acquisition, Compensation, HRIS, etc. to provide solutions for HR queries from businessSupport local HR partner with insights on local environment, HR insights and activity awarenessInvestigationsConducts workplace investigations in complex situations, demonstrating effective listening, probing and investigatory skills with the ability to synthesize data, identify root problems/causes, and recommend actions to resolution in partnership with LegalManages and resolves misconduct / disciplinary / grievance casesManages and resolves capability and performance casesManages appeal casesManages compromise / settlement agreementsData and AnalysisDelivers rigorous data analysis and reporting solutions to guide decision making for supported business unit/country or regionUses people 'placemats' to engage with local managers on their people - reviewing people analytics & providing insightsQualifications5+ years HR experience in a multinational organization preferredAdvanced English Language LevelEquinix is committed to ensuring that our employment process is open to all individuals, including those with a disability.
