We embrace diversity in thought and contribution and are committed to providing an equitable work environment. that is foundational to our core values as a company and is vital to our success. *As of Quarter 4 2022Job SummaryEquinix Italy is hiring a Critical Facility Technician for our new site located in Settimo Milanese.Your main role will be to provide an effective maintenance and repair electrical, mechanical and special systems throughout the Datacenter to minimize breakdowns and down time and maximize operating efficiencies.ResponsibilitiesCarry out an intensive program of planned preventive/corrective maintenance for the building and utilitiesCarry out routine maintenance on all company machinery and equipment to include fault finding, problem solving and minor repairs to minimize down timeFull, accurate and timely completion of all maintenance logs, schedules, etc. to comply with Health and Safety legislation and company, insurance and ISO requirements, etcContact external contractors as required and accompany/assist them while on siteEnsure there are adequate supplies of spares on site for commonly used parts or those with a long lead timeCreate & continuously update technical files for plant & equipment from liaison with suppliers, operator or own knowledge, etcCarry out daily, weekly and monthly health and safety checks and inspections and takes timely corrective action.
