Focus is on routine tasks, using limited judgement of standard operating procedures. Supports the overall team.ResponsibilitiesInstallationsInstalls customer equipment and cabinetsCross ConnectsInstalls/Tests/Modifies cross connects per SOPs and ensures proper cable management of: coax, fiber, twisted pair copper and intra-building cross connectsInstalls and tests advanced cross connects circuits (switched, multiplexed, etc.)Installs and test data center Link cross connects using Fluke and JDSU testersTicket ManagementDetermines work priorities from the ticket system queue (eg. Siebel) and ensures adherence to all commitment timesTesting/TroubleshootingConducts carrier circuit testingDocumentation/ReportingMaintains detailed written records of all work activityProjectsSupports senior staff on large scale projectsTrainingCompletes all assigned training in a timely manner.
