We embrace diversity in thought and contribution and are committed to providing an equitable work environment. that is foundational to our core values as a company and is vital to our success.*As of Quarter 4 2022Job SummaryConducts circuit maintenance, installations, and advanced testing.ResponsibilitiesInstallationsRacks and stacks customer equipmentInstalls intra-cage fiber tray, ladder rack, customer equipment and cabinetsInfrastructure installs to include the following: whalebone cable management, public fiber tray systems, carrier ladder rack, AC/DC power trays, security trays, cash meshQueue ManagementDetermines work priorities from the Oracle queue and ensures adherence to all commit timesTesting/TroubleshootingConducts carrier circuit testingCross ConnectsInstalls/Tests/Modifies cross connects per SOPs and ensures proper cable management of: coax, fiber, twisted pair copper, and intra-building cross connectsInstalls and tests advanced cross connects circuits (switched, multiplexed, etc.)Installs and test IBXLink cross connects (T1, DS3, OC3-48, Eth, GigE, 10Gig)Documentation/ReportingMaintains detailed written records of all work activityProjectsSupports fulfillment of projects with direction from senior staffTrainingCompletes all assigned training in a timely mannerCustomer ManagementSupports customer satisfaction through timely and precise order executionQualificationsProven years experienceHigh School DiplomaBERT and SONET test equipmentEquinix is committed to ensuring that our employment process is open to all individuals, including those with a disability.
