Field Marketing Manager - Public SectorField Marketing Manager Public Sector AMERThe Field Marketing Manager Public Sector Americas is part of an innovative worldwide team and the key marketing point of contact between the Sales leader - the Sales Team for the Public Sector and the Global Marketing Organization. As a Field Marketing Manager you are responsible for designing and executing a successful marketing plan and budget, in alignment with local market objectives, global company positioning, and regional vertical strategies.A locally customized blend of tactics will deliver on global and regional sales objectives and drive the success of Equinix’s cutting-edge global platform and commercial growth. This role requires great creativity, the ability to communicate effectively across varying organizational levels and teams, the ability to manage competing priorities, and exceptional project management skills.What you will be doingDevelop and execute the regional marketing plan for Public Sector across Americas, including all elements of the marketing mix and budget, including sales enablement programs, company brand awareness activities, channel promotions, events, marketing collateral, public relations, social media and web presence. With a focus on the USA, we expect this person to be supporting the local Field Marketers in Canada and LatAM with programmatic efforts for the public sector.Embrace a digital first approach where we continuously strive to find new ways to scale engagement with this audience through digital levers.Strives to include Partners relevant for the Public Sector in the majority of the Marketing Mix.Leverage the regional and global functional expertise, as well as global programs and content.Drive demand generation programs and develop additional lead nurturing activities to achieve lead goals with a balance of inbound and outbound marketing programs for the Public Sector.Ensure Americas marketing needs are effectively communicated to the global marketing organization.Provide input to identifying in-region customer targets for the Public Sector, drive sales plays, advise on how to customize/build playbooks and measure progress against targeted accounts and segments (SLED and Federal Government).Manage local lead funnel by assessing lead quality through quantifiable program metrics/OKRs, engaging with sales team, guiding, and accelerating lead movement thru the funnel, and drive sales SLA for leads and follow-up. Monitors Account Engagement as an OKR.Contact acquisition & development strategy for local market: for Federal Government and SLED, job role, target account, suspect/prospect/customer.Supporting the communications strategy with AMER Comms and Social team related to the Public Sector.Success Metrics: MRR & TCV Pipeline contribution from marketing-generated leads; MQL-SQL-Closed Won conversion rate; Account Engagement; program delivery OKRs, sales activities/participation in programs and utilization of tools, PR metrics, upsell/xsell metrics.What you should have5+ years experience preferred, IT or network marketing experience preferredBA or BS, marketing focus preferredFamiliarity with: Excel, PPT, marketing automation toolsPossesses an expert understanding of how to drive business and marketing through the sales channel to grow market shareExcels at cross-group collaborationStrong project management skills, creative thinking, and analytical abilityDemonstrated experience in working with partners driving pipeline and revenue,Proven success developing business, marketing planning/analysis, opportunity identification and optimizing Return on InvestmentMotivated self- starter who thrives on working in complex and challenging environments of a rapidly evolving businessStrong written and verbal communicationAt Equinix, we’re tasked with leading in the communities we serve — and doing our part to help keep our communities and our teams safe.
