Senior Manager, Field Marketing - NSPField Marketing Sr Manager NSP / Telco AmericasThe Field Marketing Sr. Manager NSP /Telco is part of an innovative worldwide team and the key marketing point of contact between the Sales leader - the Sales Team for NSP/Telco in the Americas and the Global Marketing Organization. As a Field Marketing Sr. Manager you are responsible for designing and executing a successful marketing plan and budget for this vertical in the Americas (including Canada and LatAM), in alignment with local market objectives, global company positioning for NSP / Telco , and regional strategies for this vertical.A locally customized blend of tactics will deliver on global and regional sales objectives and drive the success of Equinix’s cutting-edge global platform and region P&L. This role requires great creativity, the ability to communicate effectively across varying organizational levels and teams, the ability to manage competing priorities, and exceptional project management skills.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute the AMER NSP / Telco marketing plan, including all elements of the marketing mix and budget, including sales enablement programs, company brand awareness activities, events, public relations, social media and web presence.Embrace a digital first approach where we continuously strive to find new ways to scale engagement with this audience through digital levers.Leading the event management need for this verticalLeverage the regional and global functional expertise, as well as global programs and content for the NSP /Telco vertical.Drive demand generation programs and develop additional lead nurturing activities to achieve lead goals with a balance of inbound and outbound marketing programsEnsure region marketing needs are effectively communicated to the global marketing organizationProvide input to identifying in-region priorities for the identified core customers for this vertical, drive sales plays, advise on how to customize/build playbooks and measure progress against targeted priority accounts and segmentsManage local lead funnel by assessing lead quality through quantifiable program metrics/OKRs (Objectives & Key Results), engaging with sales team and Business Development team, guiding and accelerating lead movement thru the funnel, and drive sales SLA for leads and follow-up. Monitors Account Engagement as an OKR Contact acquisition & development strategy for this vertical: by job role, target account, suspect/prospect/customerSupporting the communications strategy with AMER Comms and Social team for driving awareness for the NSP / Telco industrySuccess Metrics: MRR & TCV Pipeline contribution from marketing-generated leads; MQL-SQL-Closed Won conversion rate; Account Engagement; program delivery OKRs, sales activities/participation in programs and utilization of tools, PR metrics, upsell/xsell metricsQualificationsPossesses an expert understanding of how to drive business and marketing through the sales channel to grow market shareExcels at cross-group collaborationStrong project management skills, creative thinking, and analytical abilityDemonstrated experience in working with strategic accounts like in the NSP /Telco vertical driving pipeline and revenue,Proven success developing business, marketing planning/analysis, opportunity identification and optimizing Return on InvestmentMotivated self- starter who thrives on working in complex and challenging environments of a rapidly evolving businessStrong written and verbal communicationIT or network marketing experience preferredFamiliarity with Excel, PPT, marketing automation toolsBachelor's degree preferred with a focus in marketing7+ years experience preferredAt Equinix, we’re tasked with leading in the communities we serve — and doing our part to help keep our communities and our teams safe.
