This means that we support hospitals, laboratories, public safety centers. Simply put - We cannot go dark. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for fixing and installing sophisticated circuits and performing custom installations.ResponsibilitiesRacks and stacks customer equipmentReads installation plans (Visio Drawings / Spreadsheets) and implements installation accordinglyInstalls circuits requiring sophisticated fiber terminationsResolves work priorities from a ticketing queue and ensures consistency to all contribute timesTroubleshoots switched / multiplexed / media converted circuits; escalates to, and works with networking group, as neededWorks with customers to troubleshoot issuesInstalls/tests/modifies cross connects per SOPs and ensures accurate cable management of coax, fiber, twisted pair copper, and intra-building cross connectsInstalls and tests sophisticated cross connects circuits (switched, multiplexed, etc.)Maintains detailed written records of all work activityDesigns and leads cage / infrastructure modification projectsFinishes the assigned training in a timely mannerSupports customer happiness through timely and detailed order executionQualifications3+ years experienceHigh School DiplomaBERT and SONET test equipmentAble to perform all essential job functions, including walking, standing, bending, stooping, climbing, lifting and manual dexterity, with or without reasonable accommodationAble to lift heavy equipment/items up to 50 poundsAble to work days/nights/weekends/holidays, if needed and/or requiredThe targeted pay range for this position in the following location is / locations are:California (Non-SF/Bay Area), Connecticut, Maryland, New York, New Jersey, Washington state:  $55,000 to $86,000Our pay ranges reflect the minimum and maximum target for new hire pay for the full-time position determined by role, level, and location. Individual pay is based on additional factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education and/or training.This position may be offered in other locations. Your recruiter can share more about the specific pay range for your preferred location during the hiring process.The targeted pay range listed reflects the base pay only and does not include bonus, equity, or benefits.
