The Associate Controls Engineer assists with routine system maintenance and support. Effectively interacts with other internal and external teams, including the design engineering, site engineering, regional operations teams, onsite support vendors and consultants on projects, policies and procedures within a limited scope.What you will do?:In your role of Associate Controls Engineer you will develop skills in specific control disciplines, such as:advanced process control (APC)distributed control systems (DCS)programmable logic controllers (PLC)supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA).In general, tasks and responsibilities can include:designing and developing new control systemstesting, maintaining and modifying existing systems analysing data and presenting findings in written reports.working collaboratively with design engineers, operation engineers, and other internal staff liaising with clients, suppliers, contractors and relevant authoritiesunderstanding and ensuring compliance with relevant health and safety regulations and quality standardswriting computer software and test proceduresdeveloping new business proposals and improvements.What do we look for?Working towards or recently completed a bachelor’s degree in any of the following:Automation and Industrial Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Industrial Engineering or TelecommunicationsVocational degree in HVAC/Building Automation ControlsSkills and AttributesA strong work ethicInitiative and drive to get the job doneStrong communication skills: writting and speakingThe ability to be resourceful and resilientAble to solve problems with limited supportQuick learner, seeks answers on their ownPositive attitude during adverse/non-ideal situationsGoal OrientedCollaborative spirit and a Good TeammateStrong active listening skillsFluent written and spoken EnglishWhat we be offer:Comprehensive and market-competitive remuneration packagePartly subsidised mealsExcellent growth and advancement opportunitiesInternal training/development hub with continuous formative plans available to allAn inclusive, balanced and friendly culture with our embedded ethos in which to strive onData show that many applicants apply for a job when they have 100% of what is required.
