Job SummaryThe Sr. Analyst, Reporting and Analytics is part of the Americas Bookings Operations Team and is responsible for the review and reconciliation of data to ensure accuracy and completeness of bookings and churn reporting. The role requires excellent collaboration with other groups in Sales Operations, such as Sales Compensation, Planning and Reporting Teams. As an integral part of our Bookings Operations Team, the Sr. Analyst, Reporting and Analytics is responsible for supporting the monthly close process, as well as the day-to-day booking operations related activities, such as opportunity management, reporting, Sales Compensation Issue Tracker queue management and project implementation support. This is a highly analytical role, requiring excellent attention to details. The role involves review and manipulation of large data sets and requires developing knowledge of complex sales plans and compensation concepts. It requires the ability to work independently, as well as in collaboration with the other Sales Operations team members, in order to meet monthly reporting and payroll deadlines. What you’ll be doingOpportunity managementUpdate/maintain SFDC to ensure opportunities are tagged in compliance with account segmentation and our Global Rules of Engagement supporting Equinix’s Sales Compensation plansResponsible for the monthly/quarterly reconciliations of bookings data between Tableau and SFDC, to ensure accurate and timely reporting of corporate and compensation bookingsFirst level reviewer for any opportunity tagging issues. Represent the sales ops organization in opportunity management related matters. Investigates complex issues, escalates as needed and provides timely response to sales teamsMonitor and review sales compensation issue tracker queue and reaches out to sales teams and/or sales operations to resolve issues and address inquiries, as part of our internal exception handling processBuild and maintain business partnerships with the sales organization as well as Finance, HR, Sales Compensation, Sales planning, and Sales reporting teams.
