The role is part of the Americas TA leadership team and the global G&A mission-based leadership team. The role will lead team members in the Americas region playing a meaningful role in nurturing and selecting top talent to drive the growth of our business. We’re seeking a people manager, who will also be a strategic advisor to business leaders and human resource partners in the region. You will work closely with TA leaders on the development and execution of the TA strategy for hiring across the region. With a focus on building our talent brand and driving our capability to use data to make our decisions, this role is instrumental in partnering with Talent Marketing and TA Operations to grow the function and build programs and talent channels. A leader in this role will find opportunities to innovate and drive strategic initiatives to deliver against workforce plans. You will have close interaction with human resources counterparts and business leaders.Responsibilities:Leading and developing the TA team responsible for recruitment for the assigned businessFostering a culture of innovation, strategy, and delivery excellence through strong business acumen, deep recruiting expertise, a commitment to learningDeveloping solutions and strategies to deliver TA priorities for the business through understanding of the current and future state of talent needsActing as a strategic partner to senior leaders across the business, including leading key initiatives in the region and globallyLeveraging TA operations and analytics capability to enable the team to influence stakeholders to make data driven hiring decisionsPartnering with Talent Marketing to create robust marketing plans to build talent channels and programs across the functions and regionWorking with strategic partners to drive diversity hiring and create new pathways to build pipelinePartnering with our global/regional teams and leaders to build New to Career (NTC) programs for the regionImproving assessment, selection, the hiring process and candidate experience and working with the leaders across the business to train hiring managers and interviewing teamsPartnering with TA leaders to develop the TA strategy for the business group, while providing support and guidance on individual functional strategiesPartnering with HR leaders and the wider HR team – fostering an environment of shared ownership for talent outcomesRequirements:Prior experience growing and developing teams – bringing out the best in others through the understanding of their capabilities, potential, and aspirationsProven experience leading and developing a high-performing talent acquisition team/function in a high-growth, fast-paced environmentDemonstrated capability to partner, communicate with, and influence senior leaders in the business with an ability to align a robust TA strategy with the direction of the organization and adjust to changing demands of the businessAbility to use research and data to focus resources as well as hold teams and business partners accountable for shared goalsPrior experience in developing hiring strategies across a region, as well as success in developing TA programsConscientious, forward thinking, and collaborative – at Equinix we are not afraid to experiment quickly and think creatively to overcome market challenges, and keep us ahead of the curveQualifications10+ years experience in Talent Acquisition and leading a teamExperience supporting G&A functions in a similar industryAbility to work at Equinix's Frisco office 2 days per weekEquinix is committed to ensuring that our employment process is open to all individuals, including those with a disability.
