We embrace diversity in thought and contribution and are committed to providing an equitable work environment. that is foundational to our core values as a company and is vital to our success. Job Summary:Conducts testing and basic installations, escalating issues as required.ResponsibilitiesInstallationsInstalls ladder racks and fiber racewaysBuilds/Installs cagesInstalls cable management/support systems to include vertical wire managers, horizontal wire managers, and patch panelsPerforms intra-cage and infrastructure installationsInstalls and grounds cabinets and two-post racksQueue ManagementEscalates SRs that require additional informationTesting/TroubleshootingConducts carrier circuit testingCross ConnectsInstalls/Tests/Modifies cross connects per SOPs and ensures proper cable management of: coax, fiber, twisted pair copper, and intra-building cross connectsDocumentation/ReportingMaintains accurate notes and records of activity fulfillment in ticketing systemProjectsSupports fulfillment of projects with direction from senior staffTrainingCompletes all assigned training in a timely mannerCustomer ManagementSupports customer satisfaction through timely and precise ordersQualificationsNITEC/DiplomaInterest to transition to the data centre industry (No prior industry-related experience is required)Equinix is an equal opportunity employer.
